Don't faint .........

That's right ... don't faint ... it's a layout!
I've been so busy creating things that I can't share yet and enjoying the school holidays with the boys that I needed a bit of time this afternoon to create something just for me
- something I've been meaning to document for a while.
It's a 'no photo' layout which I love to do sometimes and there are heaps of times
when you don't need a photo to tell the story. This is one of them.

Thanks for visiting, I'd love to hear from you ... please! :)

I have a son who didn't like any clothing with a star on it for about 2 years!! Weird hey!!

I have a student this year who was exactly the same, so we were really worried about her starting prep and having to wear not one, but two uniform items with buttons. She'd hated them for years, but when her parents talked to her about it, it turned out that she'd gotten 'stuck' in a shirt that had the buttons on the collar done up, and assiciated buttons with feeling trapped in her clothing! She ended up being happy to wear her button up blouse and her skorts, so maybe it will pass with your son too. Very cute quirk!

Jo Andrew's daughter has/had a button issue too! Apparently it's an actual phobia and there are many anti-button people in the world! Who would've thought. I will send Jo over.

You are so right Nicole, Kyra had a real phobia, literally petrified of them to the point of crying for more than 2 years, she couldn't touch them or have them anywhere near her. It was very hard to find cute clothes that didn't have some sort of button in sight. She seems to be past it now but it took a long while. I'm so doing this exact layout! Thanks Leanne for the idea.

Another gorgeous layout. Love these simple memories you get scrapped. And your latest photographs are lovely. Well done with those large groups : )
