Last Stack

So we've been a NO NAPPY FAMILY (DIAPER for my American friends), for about a month now and I had to create a layout about the last stack of nappies that remained in the house - it's a strange feeling to know that those days are behind us.
I loved using so many products from my stash as well as this cute new Patterned paper that I recently bought. The cute little butterfly is from a great pack that's available from Scrap 'n' Craft with T - it's actually in my newest kit that I've created and should be available for sale pretty soon here !

A close up of that cute little butterfly.

Mostly I create my layouts as I go along and work with my embellishments or photos but this time I had seen a sketch challenge on Anna's Scrapbook Cupboard and I guess subconsciously after I created the layout I could see quite a few elements that tied in with the sketch. So, I posted it on her site and had my first official play - I think I like this way of scrapping :)

great page and oh how I wish it were so in our house! No light at the end of our tunnel just yet!! I can say now, that boys ARE harder to toilet train (after two girls in front of him!) can't wait until there is the last little pile in my house, and no need for the change table, or wipes...!(actaully, I think there will always be wipes - they are just so useful!)

Must be time to have another baby, Leanne!!! Don't want those nappy's to go to waste! Love the dark grey on the layout.

My youngest too has just finished with nappies. It is very bitter sweet. Love the idea of this as a scrapbook subject. Think I will copy this one.

Aww, it IS a time of mixed emotions isn't it, good on you for scrapping it too. With 3 under 3 we had a lot of nappies over that time and I remember feeling really sad when Alex trained so quickly and no more nappy beg. :(

Love the LO hon. :)

I love the look of this page too! The coolness of the photo and the colors make it look so "intemporelle" mmmh, don't know how to say it in english!
